Christmas Recap

Our Christmas Recap...

Christmas Eve... we spent the evening at my parents house...eating LOTS of yummy food... playing board games...enjoying hot apple cider... then headed home for a nice sleep.

Christmas Day... we woke up about 6:30 and headed to my parents house for the traditional Santa Claus visit present opening. It was a blast... like always. Josie got some adorable things and I got a adorable quilted diaper bag that is pink and orange and brown w/vintage flowers and polka dots! A paitent of my mom's crocheted Josie a pair of booties that are just darling! My dad cooked up some eggs and bacon (I skipped on the bacon.. stupid nitrates) and enjoyed some coffee and played w/some toys of Jonathans before we headed to my inlaws.

We got to my inlaws for a huge Christmas brunch! Sauage gravy and homemade biscuits, fruits, blueberry waffles, hashbrowns.. the whole 9. So good! And then we all sat around the living room and exchanged gifts. Josie got lots of things there too! Remember this quilt...

 

Well a lil birdy (Josh) told my MIL that I really loved it... and she got it for me! Im so ecxited for Josie's newborn photos w/this quilt!! My MIL also made us girls aprons! They are so cute!

So we wrapped up Christmas at the inlaws and headed back to my parents to spend the rest of the day playing w/Jonathan and all his games and toys. It was such a great day!

We are sooo ready for lil Josie to be here! 12 more weeks!

 

Next year, we start our Christmas traditions with Josie. We are so excited!

Tonight we have our first Childbirthing Class at the Vanderbilt School of Nursing!

It's a 6 week course so we will be finished in time to enjoy the last 6 weeks and get Josie's room together before she gets here.

Oh and my new blog banner! Our friends, Jordan & Landon Thompson were in town for Christmas. They are wedding photographer in Hilton Head. So we exhanged photo sessions! It was fun but strange being a client for once. So my new banner photo is by them, edited by us.
